Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 4, 2025

Jikire AI Solutions (“Jikire”, “we”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the information of our business customers (jewelers) and their retail customers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why and how we use it, how long we retain it, with whom we share it, how we protect it, and the rights of jewelers and their customers. It applies to our smart mirror product for jewelry retailers and any related services. We do not collect personal data from general website visitors (no cookies or marketing). We only collect the information described below.

What Information We Collect

  • Business Customer Information: Before installation, we collect basic business details from jewelers, including the business name, address, and contact person’s name and contact details (e.g., email and phone). We use this information to set up the smart mirror, coordinate delivery and installation, and provide ongoing support.
  • Retail Customer Images: When retail customers (store visitors) try on jewelry using the smart mirror, the device’s camera temporarily captures images or video frames of the customer and the try-on session. These images contain the visual likeness of the customer. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other identifying data for retail customers. The smart mirror does not require any customer login or account – it simply processes the live images to display jewelry on the customer’s reflection.
  • No Website Tracking: We do not track or collect personal information from visitors who browse our website, and we do not use tracking technologies (such as cookies, web beacons, or similar tools) in connection with this product.

How We Use Your Information

  • Business Contact Use: We use the business information (name, address, contact person) to deliver and support the smart mirror service. For example, we use it to schedule installation, send service updates, perform maintenance or updates, respond to support requests, and communicate about the mirror’s operation. This use is necessary to fulfill our contract with the jeweler.
  • Customer Image Use: We use the captured images of retail customers solely to provide the mirror’s try-on functionality and to secure and troubleshoot the system. In other words, the images enable the mirror to properly overlay virtual jewelry on the customer’s reflection. We also use the images for diagnostic purposes if technical support is needed. We do not analyze or use these images for any advertising or profiling beyond the immediate service.
  • No Marketing Use: We do not use any collected data for marketing or advertising. We do not send marketing emails or share personal data with advertisers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

How Long We Retain Data

  • Customer Images: Any images or video frames captured by the smart mirror are kept only temporarily. All customer images are automatically deleted within 7 days of capture. This strict retention period ensures images are held only for the minimum time needed for service and support.
  • Business Information: The business contact information (name, address, contact details) is retained for as long as you remain our customer and for a limited time afterward if needed for legitimate business or legal reasons (such as warranty support or accounting). Once your relationship with us ends and any required retention periods expire, we will delete or anonymize this information.

With Whom We Share Information

  • Trusted Service Providers: We share data only as necessary to deliver and support the smart mirror system. For example, we may share business contact information and technical data with third-party service providers who help us fulfill contracts (such as cloud hosting services, payment processors, installation or maintenance contractors, and technical support personnel). All such third parties are bound by contract to protect the data and use it only for the specified service. We do not authorize them to sell or use the data for any other purposes.
  • No Data Sales: We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties. We only disclose data to trusted third parties when you have consented or when required to provide our services.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights (for example, to respond to a lawful subpoena or investigate fraud). Any such disclosure is subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. These include encryption of data in transit, secure network infrastructure, access controls, and regular security assessments. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access or disclosure. For example, only authorized employees and contractors have access to the servers and systems that handle customer data, and we train our staff on privacy best practices. No security system is impenetrable, but we strive to keep your data safe.

Your Rights

  • Jewelers (Business Customers): As our business customer, you have rights over your business information. You can request access to your data, ask us to correct or update it, or request deletion of it when it is no longer needed. For example, you can ask us to correct an address or remove a former contact person. We will handle such requests in accordance with applicable law.
  • Retail Customers (Store Visitors): Retail customers do not have personal accounts with us, but they do have rights regarding any images we hold. Since images are automatically deleted after 7 days, we generally do not retain them long-term. However, an individual may request that we delete any image of them sooner. If you are a retail customer and wish to exercise this right, please contact the retailer or us and we will honor your request.
  • General Rights: Depending on your location, you may have additional legal rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. These can include the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where applicable. To exercise your rights or to ask questions, please use the contact information below.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will post the new policy on our website and update the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Any changes will not be applied retroactively without notice.
